Position Overview:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about discovering what truly matters to our users. In this role, you will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to explore new ideas, test concepts, and learn directly from the people who use our products. More than running studies, you will help the team see through the user's eyes and shape experiences that genuinely improve lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research studies, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and ethnographic research.
  • Analyze research data to identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and present research findings in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to stakeholders.
  • Translate research insights into actionable recommendations for product design and development.
  • Advocate for the user voice throughout the product development process.
  • Stay abreast of the latest UX research methodologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a user-centered approach across all product initiatives.
  • Leverage and triangulate data from other sources / analytics to better understand customers' needs.
  • Contribute to the growth of the UX research team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience as a UX Researcher in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of user research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative research. Experience in Qualitative research method and some experience in Quantitative will be a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with user research tools and software.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating successful user research projects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Curious about people and their behaviour, obsessive about uncovering customer problems.
  • Passion for user experience and a strong desire to improve the lives of users.

  • Research rigor – scope, design and execute research studies with methodological rigor (i.e., select the best suited approach, ensure data reliability, deliver insights that align to business priorities).
  • Strong collaboration skill – work closely and cohesively with cross-functional peers.
  • User-centred lens – ground product decisions with real users' needs and voice (pain points, motivations, behaviours).
