Job description:

  1. Assist in Monitor Security Events: Continuously monitor system logs and alerts to detect potential security risks.

  2. Assist in Security Issue Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving basic IT security issues and escalate as needed.

  3. Assist in User Access Management: Support in managing user access, permissions and authentication systems.

  4. Assist in Incident Documentation: Help document security incidents, response actions, and maintain security logs.

  5. Assist in Update Security Policies: Reviewing and updating security policies, procedures and protocols.

  6. Assist in Antivirus & Endpoint Protection: Ensure antivirus and endpoint security systems are updated and effective.

  7. Assist in Network Security Monitoring: Monitoring network traffic for unusual activity or breaches.

  8. Assist in Firewall & VPN Management: Help manage Firewall rules, VPN configurations and security protocols.

  9. Assist in Vulnerability Scanning: Conduct basic vulnerability scans and report findings for remediation.

  10. Assist in Backup and Recovery Monitoring: Verify that regular backups are completed and recovery processes if needed.

  11. Assist in Support Compliance Efforts: Ensuring the company complies with internal security policies and external regulations.

  12. Assist in Incident Response: Support initial investigations of security breaches and document findings.

  13. Assist in Security Awareness Support: Help in organizing and delivering security awareness materials and training.

Job Type: Internship

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM RM700.00 per month
