The Company also provides Re-takaful business. We seek to expand our Expertise in the Actuarial Department and currently looking for candidates as Head of Actuarial. - Reinsurance.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Actuarial - Reinsurance. The Head of Actuarial will handle day-to-day tasks such as overseeing actuarial functions, managing risks, analyzing financial data, and assessing claims and involvement in MFRS17 & 18 projects. Responsibilities also include developing strategies, leading and managing the actuarial team, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The position is based in Kuala Lumpur.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Actuarial Science and Finance
- Experience in Reinsurance General Insurance with at least 5 years at Managerial level.
- Proven ability in Team Management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- A degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, or related fields
- Qualified actuarial certification as Fellows from CAS, IFoA, SOA
