Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: SENAI JOHOR.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our operations team. The successful candidate will provide technical support to daily operational activities, perform laboratory and site-based examinations, and ensure the maintenance of high safety and quality standards. This role requires a proactive professional capable of working independently, as well as collaboratively with colleagues, to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
  • Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) in accordance with industry protocols and company procedures.
  • Carry out laboratory examinations and tests, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and proper documentation of results.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and uphold a safe and organized laboratory environment.
  • Oversee and ensure the correct maintenance, calibration, and handling of laboratory and testing equipment.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports documenting findings, observations, and test results.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to support operational objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Technical Certificate, NiTEC, or Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Willingness to work at operational sites, including potential overseas assignments, and in laboratory settings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear technical documentation.
  • Previous experience in a technical or engineering field is preferred.
  • Additional advantages:

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
