Your day to day 

Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:  

Handle guest complaints, claims and problem solving of all aspects related to the engineering equipment.  

Establish and carry out any PPM to guest rooms or public areas up in accordance with IHG's SOP. 

Follow up sudden function or sudden request of equipment to meet guest satisfaction. 

If difficulties are experienced with any guest inform Duty Engineer for follow up action. 

Is responsible for receiving operator log reports from subordinates, acting upon it if any problem arises and forwarding it to Duty Engineer for further action and follow up. 

What we need from you 

Vocational Certificate in Engineering or equivalent or Certifications advance Program Engineering / Diploma in Related Engineering field 

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Hotel experience preferable 

Possesses basic knowledge and know how in general repairs, fabrication, installations, operation and preventive with regards to electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, fire protection, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, painting, kitchen equipment, sound and BAS system, sewage plants etc. Hand on with in – depth technical knowledge with hotel operations, specifically in electrical fields 

Must speak English and Bahasa Malaysia.
