Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical EHS expertise for factory and facilities system procurement. Define and communicate EHS requirements and expectations to suppliers through standard purchase specifications and other contract documents, and provide on-going technical support throughout the selection process.
  • Own and manage the completion of EHS deliverables for each factory process transfer.
  • Identify/prioritize/close transfer issues/findings identified during EHS assessments; document and communicate learnings to receiving site EHS organization.
  • Provide EHS input to factory tool install and facility system design and specifications.
  • Ownership of tool installation factory EHS equipment signoff specification and checklist.
  • Perform process hazard analysis (PHA's) on new high hazard chemical systems and ensure appropriate controls are integrated into system.
  • Ensure meets OSHA requirements for process safety management of high hazardous chemicals and other application regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with industry associations to influence EHS regulations & standards that may impact technology development and building/tool design.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in EHS roles, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting
  • Relevant EHS certifications: Safety and Health officer (SHO) & Radiation protection officer (RPO) are required.
  • In-depth knowledge of Malaysian environmental and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in EHS management system (ISO 14001, ISO 45001), RBA, etc.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing effective EHS programs
