Senior Pricing Executive

About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and analytical Senior Pricing Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that maximize profitability, enhance competitiveness, and support business growth. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Management.

Key Responsibilities

For the pricing of a new product assigned:

•    Provide basic pricing service under supervision of a more experience pricing officer in order to fulfill routine business requirements.

•    Work under minimal supervision in becoming familiar with the product pricing process.

Under minimal guidance of line manager,
o    Test pricing models and tools.
o    Tabulate the product features and pricing assumptions.
o    Calculate the profitability of a new product.
o    Understand and review product specification during the new product development process.
o   Review policy documents, marketing materials to ensure alignment with product design and pricing and provide appropriate feedback with regards to regulatory requirement.

•    Prepare pricing report for internal and regional approval.

•    Prepare product documentation and compile relevant supporting documents for a new product submission to BNM.

Front End and Back End system support under minimal supervision: 

•    To conduct and document results of UAT on product testing and system value verification 

•    To identify gaps (if any) between system and actual calculation or system functionality  

•    To support the update and maintenance of Front End and Back End System  

•    To provide assistance in adhoc miscellaneous calculations

•    Able to collaborate with various stakeholders, such as IT, New Business, Servicing, etc.

Ad Hoc support : 

•    Provide on-going technical support to various operations departments

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree related to actuarial science.
• At least 2 year (s) of working experience in the related product / pricing field is required for this position.
• Added advantage for candidates with Life Takaful experience.
