Your new role

  • Strategic Pricing and Bid Analysis: Lead in-depth evaluations of tender opportunities, including market trends, competitor positioning, and pricing strategies to craft compelling proposals.
  • Contract Structuring & Negotiation: Partner with legal and sales teams to negotiate terms that balance profitability with compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Risk & Financial Assessment: Identify and assess commercial risks, ensuring robust mitigation plans are in place to safeguard business interests.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance bid success and long-term partnerships.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor post-award contract performance, analyzing key metrics to identify areas for improvement or renegotiation.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of bid activities and generate insights for senior management on market dynamics and bid performance.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Proven experience in tendering or commercial negotiations, ideally within government or public sector contracts.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including pricing strategy development, profitability analysis, and contract negotiation.
  • Familiarity with financial metrics such as ROI, NPV, and gross margin.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
