Job Description

1. Implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QESH Management System.

2. Provide and demonstrate the leadership and commitment for the overall implementation of the QESH Management System in the department.

3. Take accountability for the effectiveness of the QESH Management System in the department.

4. Take responsibility and accountability for prevention of work-related injury and ill health in own specific area of work/responsibilities.

5. Ensure that the QESH Management System conforms to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards in the department.

6. Comply with client and applicable legal and other requirements.

7. Determine risks, opportunities and plan actions and ensure they are implemented.

8. Supervise the execution of assigned MEP trades as directed by the M&E Manager, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and project schedules by subcontractors.

9. Coordinate with other team members to ensure the integration of equipment and its installations as accordance to the design, drawings and specifications.

10. Lead on M&E testing and commissioning of the project and review all testing and approval testing data.

11.Report daily activities site progress and issues to the M&E Engineer or M&E Manager.

12. Compile O&M manuals including guarantees, warranties and certificates from

manufacturer and fabricators for final submission.

13. Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and vendors to resolve site issues and coordinate technical details.

14. Inspect workmanship and ensure all MEP installations comply with regulatory safety and quality standards.

15.  Prepare and submit daily or weekly progress reports attend coordination meetings and track milestones.

16.  Support testing commissioning and handover of MEP systems.

17.  Coordinate with the procurement team for timely delivery of materials and equipment.

18. Monitor closely of all M&E works on site and to highlight any discrepancy with others trades.

19. Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.

Job Requirements:

1.  A recognized Diploma or Certificate Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification. equivalent.

2. Minimum 3 years working experience in MEP supervision for building construction projects

3. Data Center construction experience is an added advantage.

4. Familiar with local regulations, codes of practice, and technical standards

5. Strong coordination, leadership, and communication skills

6. Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks on-site

7.  Willing to be based at Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
