Company Background:

A leading manufacturer of prefabricated modular data center solutions, specialize in the data center and power systems industry. With R&D facilities in Shanghai and high-end manufacturing plants in Shanghai and Malaysia, it delivers innovative solutions for hyperscale data center projects globally. The company is located in Johor Bahru, and the actual working location is subject to the project.

Salary Range: RM4000-RM6000

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of lifting operations including:
  • Personnel allocation and team assignment
  • Crane selection and configuration
  • Rigging equipment selection and setup
  • Determining optimal crane positioning
  • Assessment and preparation of crane foundation/ground conditions
  • Assignment of specific roles and responsibilities to lifting team members
  • Develop detailed lift plans including personnel positioning and escape routes
  • Conduct pre-lift meetings to ensure all team members understand their roles
  • Verify ground bearing capacity and stability before positioning cranes
  • Select appropriate rigging equipment based on load characteristics
  • Monitor weather conditions and assess impact on lifting operations
  • Coordinate with project managers and other supervisors for scheduling
  • Ensure proper documentation of all lifting configurations and decisions

Required Qualifications:

  • Must possess valid lifting certification recognized by Malaysian government departments
  • Minimum 5 years experience in lifting supervision, preferably in data centre or similar technical environment
  • Valid Lifting Supervisor certification from recognized authority
  • In-depth knowledge of rigging equipment and lifting techniques
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and standards
  • Experience with various types of lifting equipment (cranes, hoists, forklifts)
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal forms
