Are you a strategic finance professional with a passion for driving business performance and partnering with leadership? A leading multinational in the FMCG and Manufacturing space is seeking a dynamic FP&A Manager to join their regional finance team based in Kuala Lumpur.

Your new role

This is a high-impact role where you'll act as a key business partner to senior stakeholders across Southeast Asia. You'll lead financial planning and analysis activities, support strategic initiatives, and drive process improvements across multiple entities in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts across Southeast Asia entities.
  • Provide commercial insights and financial support for regional projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee transfer pricing processes and ensure accurate costing and financial impact simulations.
  • Drive automation and analytics in financial reporting and performance monitoring.
  • Support impairment assessments and valuation analysis for intangible assets and investments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance internal controls and streamline business processes.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality reporting to senior management and group headquarters.
  • Partner with internal and external auditors to resolve finance-related audit issues.
  • Provide guidance on new accounting standards and their business implications.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in FP&A within a regional or multinational environment, preferably in FMCG or similar industries.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and deliver actionable insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in transfer pricing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools; experience with automation and analytics is advantageous.
