Finance cum Administrative Manager

Job Scope/Responsibilities:
(Finance)
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operation and perform statutory and management accounting activities including preparation of financial accounts, forecast, cash flow planning, financial projections and AMP/budget.
- Prepare and administer the approved AMP/budget according to company policy to ensure accuracy, completeness and submission deadlines are met.
- Manage and lead office administration function to ensure effectiveness and efficiencies, and maintain conducive working environment.
- Carry out regular review of policies and procedures for internal control of the company and make recommendation for improvement.
- Involved for quarterly/annual reporting, including audited financial statements and submission to regulatory bodies.
- Support the implementation of new accounting standard/process or taxation related requirements such as tax planning.
- Coach the team members, providing guidance to achieve their key performance indicators.
- Undertake other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Management from time to time or as and when necessary.
(Administration)
- Oversee the daily operations in administrative matters of the office, including documents processing and data entry.
- Supervise the preparation and data interpretation of management report, financial analysis and forecast.
- Listing with company secretary and auditor on all legal & secretariat matters and proper filling of related documents.
- Coordinate monthly account closing including supporting schedule and related matters.
- Attend and take appropriate action to resolve debtors' enquiries and complaints.
- Ensure all collections are promptly deposited and accounted for on a timely basis.
- Negotiate and communicate well with suppliers and service providers.
- Undertake any other ad hoc tasks/assignments as instructed by the Management.
Job Requirements:
- Preferably a Diploma/Degree in Business Administration/Finance/Accounting/Banking graduate or possess ACCA/CIMA/CPA qualification or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in a managerial role.
- Strong accounting knowledge and well-versed in Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
- Experience in group reporting, consolidation, preparation of board papers, month-end closing, management reporting, treasury, cash flow management, project financing, taxation, internal controls, budget, forecasting, financial analysis, etc.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Inquisitive, meticulous and possess good logical, analytical and process flow skills.
- Possess good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
- Analytically minded with excellent administrative skills and work well with numerical data.
- Positive attitude, able to provide mentoring and coaching to the team.
