Key responsibilities:

  • Timeline and Requirement Management: Ensure that the new program meets its timeline and requirements.
  • Coordination with Customers and Internal Teams: Collaborate with both customers and internal teams to prepare for the new program and address any outstanding items. Coordinate with relevant departments (Quality Assurance, Process, and Production) to review performance, yield, and quality issues related to FA (First Article) parts.
  • Document Readiness: Ensure that necessary documents (such as DFM, Move ticket, PMP, FMEA, and Packing Proposal) are ready for FA submission and mass production transfer.
  • Quality System Establishment and Maintenance: Establish and maintain the quality system for the new program.
  • Cost Breakdown Analysis: Break down costs associated with each program, including materials, process, labour, overhead, and other expenses. Identify cost drivers and areas where cost reduction is possible.
  • Follow up and reporting: Conduct APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) meetings to communicate the status of new programs to relevant departments.
  • FA Submission: Ensure timely delivery of high-quality FA parts to customers

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills for problem-solving and data-driven decision-making
  • Experience in Research and Development (R&D) with a focus on innovative product solutions
  • Proficiency in Project Management to lead cross-functional teams and meet deadlines
  • Expertise in Product Development and Testing methodologies
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry compliance standards
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering fields
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with CAD software and engineering tools is an advantage
