Job responsibilities:

  • Conduct contractors' evaluation with proper records compilation for each contract, keep management update on what contractors can or cannot do.
  • Assist in managing contractor sourcing processes, from pre-qualification, bidding, tender negotiation, short listing, award recommendation to management until award contracts.
  • Monitor and review contracting strategies, contracting plans, contracting package bidding list and other contract related documents.
  • Coordinate with other departments for specific requirements and important interfacing requirements in the general terms of contracts.
  • Manage contracts renewal processes, from reviewing performance evaluation, details of scope of works, examine amendments contracts.
  • Preparation of Contract Committee Paper (CCP) and correspondence letters to contractors.
  • Ensure that proper documentation are kept and made available as and when required.
  • Ensure that payments to contractors are processed to enable timely receipt in accordance to the terms of contracts.
  • Managing the claims from contractors and penalties charge against the contractor.
  • Manage and prepare relevant documentation for the contractors' vehicle and manpower audit.
  • Assist any other ad-hoc matters as and when required.

Job Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • At least three (3) years of working experience in the related field.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of people and to deal with diversity of contractors.
  • Strong in managing own works and follow up with issues/deadline.
  • Meticulous and systematic in organizing own work processes.
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office Applications.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM4,500.00 per month
