Position: Software Engineer

Job Description:

  • Develop and enhance existing software modules to improve functionality and performance.
  • Analyze and resolve customer and production-related software issues, including bug fixing within machine applications.
  • Implement engineering change requests and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct testing of new software releases through process simulations and on actual equipment.
  • Utilize version control and issue-tracking tools to manage software releases effectively.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation related to software development, debugging, and feature releases in compliance with internal standards.
  • Provide prompt technical support for production and customer needs.
  • Contribute to R&D or continuous improvement projects as assigned.
  • Participate in installation, beta testing, and validation of new software versions at customer sites (occasional travel required).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics, or Software Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the automation or equipment industry.
  • Hands-on experience in software development and testing, particularly in embedded systems and HMI environments.
  • Familiarity with agile development practices, quality control, and test-driven development.
  • Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Visual Basic (VB6) using Microsoft Visual Studio.
