Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, setup, and calibration of SMT machines (e.g., screen printer, pick & place, reflow oven, AOI, SPI).
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on SMT equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by preparing SMT programs, stencil designs, and line setup.
  • Troubleshoot machine, process, and quality issues to ensure stable production output.
  • Develop, monitor, and optimize SMT process parameters
  • Conduct process capability studies, yield analysis, and defect trend monitoring to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Perform root cause and corrective action (RCCA) for process-related issues.
  • improvement of line tools/jigs to achieve high quality.
  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to improve efficiency and yield.
  • Work closely with Production, Quality, and Process Engineers to optimize SMT processes.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to technicians and operators.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years' experience in SMT equipment engineering within EMS or PCB assembly environment.
  • Hands-on experience with SMT equipment brands (e.g., Yamaha, Panasonic, Fuji, Juki, ASM, DEK, etc.).
  • Familiar with SMT processes and inspection systems (SPI, AOI, reflow profiling, etc.).
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently and support shift operations when required.

Pay: RM2, RM4,800.00 per month
