Your New CompanyYou will be joining a well-established plantation organisation in Malaysia, the organisation owns 100,000 hectares of land and 12 mills in Malaysia and Indonesia. They primarliy produce palm oil but their agriculture includes others products suchs as rubber and fruits. They are known their commitment to sustanability, operational excellence, and long-term growth. The company manages extensive plantation assets and has a new focus on innovation, environmental stewardship, and value creation across its operations.

Your New RoleAs Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for setting and executing the strategic direction of the organisation. You will lead the executive senior management team, oversee plantation operations, and ensure strong financial and operational performance. This role requires a visionary leader capable of driving business transformation, operationally, digitally and culturally. The job is to enhance productivity and build stakeholder confidence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing strategic plans to drive growth and sustainability.
• Leading operational improvements across plantation assets and supporting functions.
• Managing stakeholder relationships, including industry partners, regulators, and communities.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and corporate governance.
• Driving innovation and identifying new opportunities for expansion and diversification.

What You'll Need to SucceedTo be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience in executive leadership, within palm oil plantations.
• Strong strategic planning, financial management, and operational leadership capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A deep understanding of sustainability practices and industry trends.
• A relevant degree in agriculture, business, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
