Procurement Executive

Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Purchasing Operations
- Process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and issue Purchase Orders (PO) in accordance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Ensure timely procurement of direct and indirect materials, services, and consumables.
- Track order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Resolve issues related to pricing, quantity, delivery, or documentation discrepancies.
Sourcing & Cost Management
- Support sourcing activities including supplier identification, RFQ/RFP preparation, quotation analysis, and cost comparison.
- Assist in supplier negotiation on pricing, lead time, and commercial terms.
- Support cost-saving and supplier consolidation initiatives.
- Maintain sourcing records, supplier database, and price history.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain good working relationships with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Planning, Production, Engineering, Warehouse, Finance, QA) to meet procurement needs.
Inventory & Compliance Support
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Support inventory cycle counts and investigate variances.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, ISO standards, and audit requirements.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate procurement data in ERP/MRP systems.
- Prepare procurement, sourcing, and cost analysis reports for management review.
- Support internal and external audit documentation as required.
Job RequirementsEducation & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Purchasing, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
- 3 - 5 years and above of experiences.
Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of procurement and sourcing processes.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with positive learning attitude.
Added Advantages
- Internship or experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Autocount / MRP).
- Exposure to manufacturing, MNC, or ISO-certified environment.
