About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Assistant to join the finance team at NGAN YIN FOOD INDUSTRIES SDN BHD in Ipoh, Perak. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing accounting and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our financial operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely and precise bookkeeping
  • Preparing and processing invoices, payments, and receipts
  • Reconciling bank statements and petty cash
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Providing administrative support, such as filing and data entry
  • Collaborating with the finance team to improve processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Relevant qualification in Accounting or a related field
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounts assistant role
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing priorities
