Job Title: Junior Interior Designer

Salary Range: Up to RM4,000

Open to fresh graduates

Job Description:

We are seeking a creative, proactive, and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our design and build team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or junior designers who are passionate about interior design and eager to grow in a fast-paced project environment. You will assist in design development, drafting, material sourcing, and project coordination while learning directly from senior designers and project leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing interior design concepts, mood boards, and layout proposals under the guidance of senior designers.
  • Prepare and update AutoCAD drawings, 3D visuals, and design documentation (furniture layouts, lighting plans, material boards).
  • Support senior designers in preparing client presentations using Photoshop and other visual tools.
  • Conduct basic material sourcing, supplier coordination, and cost comparison.
  • Assist in site visits, taking measurements, and supporting the project team in monitoring design progress.
  • Communicate with clients, suppliers, and contractors when required.
  • Research design trends, materials, and market updates to contribute fresh ideas to the team.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Max, Vray, and Adobe Photoshop is an added advantage (willingness to learn is acceptable).
  • Strong creativity with good understanding of basic space planning and design principles.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and meet project timelines.
  • Mandarin-speaking candidates are an advantage due to communication needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
