Job Title: Internship – Chemistry / Process Intern (Nitrohumic Acid Plant)

Department: Production & Quality Control

Location: Klang

Duration: 3–12 months

Reporting To: Plant Chemist / Production Supervisor

Job Summary:

The intern will assist in the daily operations of the nitrohumic acid production plant, focusing on chemical process monitoring, quality control, laboratory analysis, and product formulation. This internship provides practical exposure to industrial chemistry applications, humic-based fertilizer manufacturing, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and standardization of chemical solutions and reagents.
  • Support laboratory testing of raw materials, intermediate, and final nitrohumic acid products (e.g., pH, total nitrogen, humic content, ash, solubility).
  • Monitor and record process parameters during synthesis and drying operations.
  • Participate in pilot-scale or batch trials to evaluate process improvements.
  • Conduct sample collection and assist in analytical procedures such as titration, spectrophotometry, or gravimetric analysis.
  • Help ensure all safety and environmental procedures are followed in the lab and plant area.
  • Maintain lab records, data sheets, and assist in preparing technical reports.
  • Support R&D activities for product enhancement or formulation adjustments.

  • Hands-on experience with analytical laboratory instruments and techniques.
  • Exposure to industrial safety standards and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
  • Data recording, analysis, and technical reporting skills.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Agricultural Chemistry, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of chemical laboratory safety and analytical methods.
  • Good observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn in both laboratory and production environments.
  • Intake: December 2025 onwards.
  • Benefit: Allowance provided.
  • Location: Pendamar, Klang.

Added Advantage:

  • Familiarity with humic substances, fertilizers, or organic acids.
  • Previous laboratory or plant-based internship experience.

Contract length: 3-12 months

Pay: RM1,000.00 per month
