About the role

As a Project Engineer at WHH Engineering & Construction Sdn. Bhd., you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of complex engineering projects. This full-time position is based in Pasir Gudang, Johor, and will involve overseeing all aspects of project management, from planning and coordination to execution and completion.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and implement detailed project plans, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables
  2. Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors
  3. Monitor and control project budgets, resources, and schedules to optimise efficiency and profitability
  4. Identify and mitigate potential risks, and implement contingency plans as needed
  5. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction
  6. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
  7. Document and report on project progress, issues, and lessons learned

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, preferably in the oil & gas industry
  2. Fresh graduates are encourage to apply
  3. Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and tools
  4. Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  6. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards
  7. Proficient in the use of project management software and MS Office suite
