Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible
Account Assistant
to support daily accounting operations. The role involves handling data entry, assisting with account reconciliation, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accurate maintenance of accounting records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, scanning and bookkeeping.
  • Record and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
  • Assist in reconciling bank statements and company accounts.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain proper filing and organization of accounting documents.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
  • Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding billing or payment matters.
  • Support the finance team with audit preparation and other administrative duties.

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
