About the role

Melaka International School is seeking an exceptional individual to join their team as the School Principal. In this crucial leadership role, you will be responsible for driving the strategic vision and day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring the delivery of outstanding educational outcomes for our students. This is a full-time position based in the vibrant city of Melaka.

What you'll be doing

1. Provide strong, inspirational leadership to teachers, staff and students
2. Develop and implement strategic plans to continually improve the school's academic performance and student outcomes
3. Foster a positive, collaborative school culture that empowers teachers and staff
4. Oversee the management of school resources, facilities and budgets
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, the local community and key educational authorities
6. Champion the school's mission, values and commitment to student-centric learning
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant educational policies and regulations

What we're looking for

1. Extensive experience as a school principal or in a similarly senior educational leadership role
2. Proven track record of driving school improvement and elevating student outcomes
3. Exceptional communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
4. Strong business acumen and financial management capabilities
5. Postgraduate qualifications in education, school leadership or a related field
6. Passionate commitment to the provision of high-quality international education
