About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Automation Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Ipoh. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of machine automation and vision systems, supporting manufacturing process improvements and ensuring operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop machine automation and vision inspection systems for production lines.
  • Lead and manage the build, testing, and integration of automated process and inspection equipment.
  • Provide innovative engineering solutions to meet manufacturing and process optimization needs.
  • Ensure all designs and operations comply with ISO standards, company regulations, and industry codes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Apply risk-based thinking in the planning and execution of engineering projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Professional, or Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronic, Electromechanical, or Computer/Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in automation systems, networking, test processes, or product transfer.
  • Familiarity with product development processes and experience in releasing products to production.
  • Strong understanding of test methodologies, with the ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with fiber-optic or laser-based products is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6, RM7,500.00 per month
