Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Innovation & Community Associate, based in Miri with flexibility for some remote work. The associate will engage with community stakeholders, facilitate community-based initiatives, and support innovative approaches to address social challenges. Responsibilities include managing community programs, providing case management support, fostering partnerships, and ensuring effective communication between community members and organizational teams.

Qualifications

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills to build meaningful relationships and foster collaboration
  • Community Support and Case Management experience to handle member needs effectively
  • Excellent Communication skills for conveying ideas and responding to community inquiries
  • Knowledge of Community Health practices to support the well-being of stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to hybrid work environments, and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in data analysis and program evaluation is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Community Development, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in community-oriented projects, especially those focused on social innovation, is an advantage
