Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled
SAP Tester
to join our client's team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of financial software applications through manual, automated, and cognitive testing. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex SAP upgrade and transformation projects while contributing to the end-to-end software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test financial software applications and validate system functionality.
  • Create and execute Test Plans, Test Scripts, and confirm success criteria.
  • Prepare test data, execute test cases, and provide daily status updates.
  • Understand complex system architectures and develop test scripts accordingly.
  • Create traceability matrix mapping requirements to test cases.
  • Participate in software design reviews and walkthroughs.
  • Collaborate with business and system analysts on test plans and scripts.
  • Identify, reproduce, and report defects with detailed bug reports.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and follow up on defects to ensure proper resolution.
  • Review test scripts and walkthroughs with SMEs and BA teams.
  • Document and provide test evidence for audit purposes.
  • Log and manage defects in test management tools, conduct defect triage, and escalate roadblocks when necessary.

Requirements:

  • 4–7 years of experience in software testing.
  • 2+ years in managing large SAP upgrade/transformation projects.
  • Experience designing test cases and scenarios from requirement documents.
  • Quick learner for complex integrated systems.
  • Experience with test management tools (Jira + XRAY, HPQC, etc.)
  • API testing experience.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the financial domain.
  • Testing SAP S4 HANA data migration and integration.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter), Agile processes, Robot Framework, and TestProject.
