Job Description

  • Experienced DevOps engineer on GitHub, Jenkins, Nexus Repository, SonarQube and Prisma
  • Establish CI/CD pipeline for Java, React and Angular container based applications to Kubernetes clusters on AWS environments using Jenkins, HELM charts Nexus Repo, SonarQube and Prisma Scanner
  • Strong hands-on Branching Strategies
  • Strong hands-on configuring and managing Istio service mesh for traffic routing, mTLS, ingress/egress policies, and observability integration.
  • Strong hands-on HELM charts, able to design HELM chart for multiple microservices
  • Expertise in defining and creating Approval workflows for deployments to different AWS environments
  • Partner with the rest of engineering to improve stability, performance, and maintainability of systems and infrastructure
  • Drive and support devops needs for development initiatives
  • Other duties as deemed necessary for the job

Job Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

Professional Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven track record of contributing to or delivering within world-class engineering teams.Minimum 4+ years of relevant industry experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or cloud engineering roles.
  • Strong self-starter mentality with the ability to collaborate effectively and propose practical technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn, adopt, and work with new technologies, tools, and frameworks.

Technical Expertise

  • Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Practical experience creating and managing Helm Charts.
  • Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes cluster management.
  • Experience configuring and operating Istio service mesh, including traffic routing, mTLS, ingress/egress policies, and observability.
  • Programming/scripting skills with experience using AWS CLI.
  • Experience building pipelines to publish containerized applications to AWS EKS.
  • Familiarity with build technologies such as NuGet, Maven, SonarQube, and related plugins.
  • Proven experience working with GitHub or similar source control systems.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience deploying applications to AWS environments using DevOps tooling and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, CI, TDD).
  • Additional experience with cloud technologies, particularly within the AWS ecosystem.
  • Relevant industry certifications (AWS, Kubernetes, DevOps certifications, etc.).
