About the role

As a DevOps Engineer and play a key role in driving the company's technological innovation and growth. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for automating and optimising the software development and deployment processes, ensuring seamless integration between development, testing, and operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
  2. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Docker
  3. Monitor and optimise system performance, identify and resolve issues, and ensure high availability and scalability of production environments
  4. Collaborate with development teams to improve development practices, promote DevOps principles, and increase overall software delivery efficiency
  5. Participate in incident response and problem-solving activities to minimise downtime and ensure smooth operations
  6. Continuously research and implement new technologies, methodologies, and best practices to improve the company's DevOps capabilities

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
  2. Proficient in multiple programming languages, such as Python, Bash, or Go
  3. Extensive experience with containerisation and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  4. Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  5. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  7. Experience with monitoring and observability tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Elasticsearch
  8. Understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies
