About the role

As the Poultry Farm Supervisor/ Manager at Zenxin Agriculture Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our poultry farm in Kluang District, Johor. This full-time position is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our farm, while also contributing to the wider objectives of the company.

Daily Operations Management

· Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the farm, including feed distribution, water systems, ventilation systems, and hygiene maintenance.

· Ensure the poultry's health and promptly detect and report abnormalities (e.g., disease or high mortality rates).

· Handle customer complaints and provide feedback to management.

Employee Management

· Guide and train farm employees to ensure tasks are completed on time and efficiently.

· Assign tasks to employees, providing necessary support and supervision.

Production Records and Data Analysis

· Record farm production data (e.g., feed consumption, egg production rate, weight gain) and optimize farming strategies based on data analysis.

· Prepare and submit relevant reports.

Policy and Standard Implementation

· Ensure all operations comply with company policies, health and safety standards, and agricultural regulations.

· Implement biosecurity measures to prevent disease spread.

Equipment and Inventory Management

· Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning; arrange repairs or replacements when needed.

· Manage inventory of feed, medication, and other supplies to ensure adequate availability.

Cost and Efficiency Optimization

· Monitor key indicators such as feed conversion rates and production outputs to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

· Propose improvements to enhance overall farm performance.

Job Requirements

· Diploma or higher qualification in agriculture, animal science, or a related field is preferred.

· At least 3 years of experience in poultry farming, with managerial experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities

· Familiarity with poultry farming techniques and disease prevention methods.

· Strong team management and coordination skills.

· Proficient in production record-keeping and data analysis, with basic computer skills (e.g., Excel, Word).

· Ability to work outdoors and handle multitasking environments.

Language Proficiency

English, Malay (written and spoken), and Chinese
