QK Group – Media Team

We are looking for a talented and passionate Event Photographer to join our Media Team. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality photographs at a variety of events, including corporate functions, award ceremonies, luxury brand launches, FMCG activations, weddings, personal milestones, and more — spanning from Southeast Asia to Europe in event destination coverage.

You will work closely with our Director and Event Managers to ensure every important moment is perfectly preserved, delivering visuals that tell compelling stories and reflect the essence of each event. Our portfolio includes collaborations with Multinational Corporations (MNCs), Government-Linked Companies (GLCs), Fortune 500 brands, luxury labels, leading FMCG companies, and prestigious milestones, giving you the opportunity to work on high-profile projects across diverse industries and international destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture professional-grade photographs that align with event objectives and brand identity
  • Collaborate with creative and event teams to plan and execute coverage
  • Edit and retouch images to meet the highest quality standards
  • Maintain and manage photography equipment before, during, and after events
  • Deliver final images within agreed timelines
  • Assist the Director in identifying, mentoring, and training the next generation of talented event photographers

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English, Mandarin/Cantonese, and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin/Cantonese is a must to effectively communicate with Mandarin/Cantonese-speaking clients)
  • Proven experience in event photography (portfolio required)
  • Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop)
  • Strong eye for detail, composition, and storytelling
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to varied settings
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Physically fit with the endurance to handle extended event hours
  • Punctual and reliable in event call times
  • Presentable image with a professional appearance at all times
  • Available to travel and work on weekends
