Job Summary:

Responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of Schedule Waste (SW) and General Waste (GW) management at the site. This includes labelling, record-keeping, storage, shipment documentation, training, reporting and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role is critical in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and internal standards and for supporting safe and efficient site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Schedule Waste (SW) Management:

  • Ensure proper labelling of Schedule Waste according to regulatory and company standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate record-keeping of all waste types and movements.
  • Manage SW storage areas to ensure proper segregation, containment and compliance with legal and internal requirements.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Schedule Waste Store operations.

2. Reporting & Compliance:

  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports for:
  • General Waste
  • Schedule Waste
  • Ensure compliance with DOE (Department of Environment) and other regulatory requirements.
  • Support audit preparation and respond to audit findings related to waste and chemical management.

3. Communication & Coordination:

  • Act as the liaison between MEP contractors and the Sandisk Team for all matters related to SW disposal and management.
  • Communicate proactively to ensure alignment and smooth operations.

4. Waste Collection & Weighing:

  • Trigger and coordinate timely waste collection schedules.
  • Supervise or conduct weighing of waste onsite and ensure proper documentation.

Requirement:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Able to work independently and proactively under minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work on-site and supervise physical waste handling and weighing activities.
  • Able to speak and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic data entry/reporting systems.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with contractors, internal teams, and government authorities.
  • Able to start work immediately.

Pay: RM2, RM2,500.00 per month
