We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Graphic Designer to join the MapleStorySEA team. In this fast-paced live game environment, you'll craft and adapt visuals that fuel the excitement of updates, events, and campaigns, and bring MapleStory's iconic, whimsical 2D chibi/anime world to life. From in-game content and marketing campaigns to community engagement, your work will inspire millions of players who call MapleStorySEA their home.

Key Responsibilities

Game Asset Adaptation & Creative Design:

Adapt developer-provided layered PSDs and visual assets for SEA use while staying faithful to MapleStory's established art style.

Create original campaign visuals for digital platforms (websites, microsites, social media, EDMs, digital ads) and offline events (posters, merchandise, booth visuals).

Produce both static and motion graphics for in-game promotions, patch updates, and marketing videos.

Brand Consistency & Localisation:

Maintain MapleStory's visual identity while tailoring creatives for Singapore and Malaysia audiences.

Localise in-game visuals, event branding, and promotional assets to fit cultural context while preserving the Maple look and feel.

High-Volume, Fast-Turnaround Delivery:

Manage multiple asset requests with varying deadlines, prioritising urgent needs without sacrificing quality.

Deliver pixel-perfect assets ready for immediate deployment.

Collaboration:

Work closely with product, marketing, and community teams to align visuals with campaign goals.

Adapt quickly to late-breaking changes (new assets, updated copy, event timing).

Special Projects:

Support offline events with stage/backdrop designs, printed merchandise artwork, and interactive displays.

Assist with concept art for promotional collaborations and seasonal events

Job Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator; After Effects or Premiere Pro for motion graphics).

Strong portfolio demonstrating anime/chibi, game-related, or whimsical 2D style work.

Experience working with layered PSD files and adapting existing art assets.

Excellent understanding of composition, typography, and colour theory.

Ability to produce large volumes of assets under tight deadlines.

Nice-to-Have:

Motion graphics experience for social media and in-game promos.

UI/UX design experience for web or in-game elements.

Familiarity with MMORPG communities and gaming culture in SEA.

Note: Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a MapleStory-style design test to assess speed, style compatibility, and technical execution.
