Technology Development Engineer
( Junior Engineer/ Engineer/ Specialist/ Senior Specialist/ Team Lead )
 
Your Responsibilities

• As the main customer's Single-Point-Of-Contact (SPOC) and overseeing new projects and technical building blocks to meet customer's expectations
• Assist Program Management tasks and programs as assigned by Program Management Manager, as the Single-Point-Of-Contact for Customer and support organizing and leading customer's meeting accordingly
• Act as the interface for the next disruptive technologies in close collaboration with internal R&D, suppliers and customers
• Based on customer's future needs, to identify potential technology for feasibility study and development.  This includes formulation & submission of funding applications.
• Assist the team in meeting customer's technology requirements for the next generation products, i.e. embedding
• Ensure appropriate resources are available and assign necessary support to all associated projects/programs.  This includes identifying the required resources and responsibilities, assign the tasks within the departments/plant, make efficient use of the assigned resources and ensure to get the adequate support to ensure successful execution of the projects/programs.
• Support the coordination of several active projects/programs in parallel, ensure sound multiple projects/programs management and review project/programs performance post completion.
• Understanding customer 's specifications and requirements. This includes ensuring thorough understanding of customer's specifications and requirements and identifying the gaps for the company to meet customer's specifications and requirements and drive R&D, Project Team and Plant to close the gaps or for the customer to amend the requirements.
• Coordinate feasibility studies of new projects/programs including liaising with various stakeholders to study the feasibility of participating on new projects/programs.
• Product and Process development from NPI phase to meet Yield and IPP targets (set by customer and plant level). This extends until HVM handover and ramp up to meet product certification timelines
• Recipe development, recipe maintenance and recipe management within the department with HVM
• Perform tasks assigned by the superior

Your Profile

• Bachelor's Degree/ Master in Engineering/ Science or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in/as Technology Development, Technology development, R&D or Process Engineering.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Subject matter expert in key process(es) for PCB/Substrate manufacturing
• Strong oral and written communication skills as well as good presentation skills.
• Ability to manage and develop cross-functional technical teams.
• Familiarity with Design of Experiments, Quality by Design, Commonality Analysis and Quality Risk Management concepts commonly employed in high volume manufacturing industries.
• Strong understanding of project management systems and tools is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to successfully manage a multitude of technical projects.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, complex and changing environment.
• Excellent analytical, technical and strategic thinking skills and experiences.
• Flexible and willingness to travel for work-related assignments
• Open-minded and a team player
• Adaptable and sensitivity to multi-racial work environment
• Good project management skills
