In this role, you will lead the planning and integration of AI-driven assistants that help automate, streamline, and augment key tasks across every stage of software delivery. You'll work at the forefront of applied AI, combining machine learning, natural language processing, and developer tools to shape the future of how software is built and delivered.

End-to-End AI Agent Strategy & Planning

• Analyze the software development workflow to identify automation and augmentation opportunities.

• Plan the architecture and roles of AI agents across stages including:

• Requirement Gathering: AI-assisted stakeholder interviews, requirement summarization, use case extraction.

• Design & Planning: Generating architecture diagrams, design suggestions, task breakdowns.
• Coding: Code generation, auto-complete, documentation assistance, and refactoring support.
• Testing: Automated test case generation, test coverage analysis, bug prediction.
• Code Review & QA: Intelligent static code analysis, code quality scoring, review suggestions.
• Deployment & CI/CD: Agent-supported build automation, pipeline optimization, and monitoring setup.
• Post-Launch: Issue classification, feedback analysis, performance monitoring insights.

AI Model Selection & Agent Development

• Work with large language models (LLMs) like GPT, Claude, CodeBERT, or fine-tuned internal models for various tasks.
• Develop agent workflows using prompt engineering, chaining, and fine-tuned models.
• Integrate agents into collaboration tools, IDEs, version control systems, project trackers, and CI/CD platforms.

Integration & Tooling

• Build plugins or interfaces for tools like Jira, GitHub, GitLab, VS Code, Jenkins, etc., to embed AI agent capabilities.
• Ensure smooth handoff and interaction between agents across SDLC stages (e.g., from requirement agent to coding agent).

Monitoring, Feedback & Optimization

• Define success metrics and feedback loops to improve agent accuracy, reliability, and developer trust.
• Continuously test and iterate on prompts, workflows, and models based on user behavior and feedback.

Governance & Responsible AI

• Enforce security, privacy, and ethical AI guidelines in all AI agent workflows.
• Implement safety checks to avoid hallucinations, bias, or insecure code suggestions.

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or applied NLP.
• Strong knowledge of software development practices and tools (Git, Jira, CI/CD, IDEs).
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript or Java.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, Mistral).
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, agent orchestration (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex), and API integrations.
• Experience deploying AI assistants in software engineering contexts will be added advantage.
• Background in requirements gathering, software testing, or DevOps is a plus.
• Familiarity with MLOps and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) will be added advantage.
