About the role
This is a full-time Account Assistant position at CJ RESOURCES PTE LTD based in Johor, MY. You will be responsible for supporting the accounting team with a variety of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the company's finances.
What you'll be doing
- Performing general bookkeeping duties such as data entry, invoice processing, reconciliations, and maintaining accounting records
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents
- Conducting basic financial analysis and providing support for month-end and year-end processes
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, such as clients and suppliers, to resolve accounting-related queries
- Providing administrative support to the accounting team as needed
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
