About the role

This is a full-time Account Assistant position at CJ RESOURCES PTE LTD based in Johor, MY. You will be responsible for supporting the accounting team with a variety of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the company's finances.

What you'll be doing

  1. Performing general bookkeeping duties such as data entry, invoice processing, reconciliations, and maintaining accounting records
  2. Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents
  3. Conducting basic financial analysis and providing support for month-end and year-end processes
  4. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, such as clients and suppliers, to resolve accounting-related queries
  5. Providing administrative support to the accounting team as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role
  2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work
  3. Good knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  4. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
