machinist - roll grinding

Job Description:

• Set up and operate CNC and conventional roll grinding machines according to specifications.
• Inspect rolls for wear, defects, and dimensional accuracy.
• Grind, polish, and repair rolls to meet production and quality requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance on grinding machines and tools.
• Coordinate and collaborate with engineers, supervisors, production and maintenance teams.
• Maintain accurate records of grinding operations and roll specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of PPE.
• Set up the machinery, including installing and adjusting tools, dies, and machine parameters.
• Make adjustments to machine settings to improve performance and efficiency.
• Ability to select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes.

Requirement:

Education: Diploma or Professional Certificate (CNC, Grinding Machine, Machinery, Lathe, Milling)

Experience: Preferably 1–3 years of experience, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Environment: Heavy manufacturing work environment.
