Project Engineer

Construction and Engineering

Bukit Jalil, KL

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Coordination & Planning

Assist the Project Manager in preparing work programs, progress reports, and method statements.

Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to resolve design and site issues.

Ensure materials and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule.

Attend site and coordination meetings to discuss technical and progress matters.

2. Site Supervision & Quality Control

Monitor site progress to ensure compliance with construction drawings, specifications, and QA/QC standards.

Supervise and check workmanship of subcontractors and ensure adherence to safety procedures.

Conduct site inspections and follow up on non-conformance reports (NCR) and corrective actions.

3. Technical & Documentation

Prepare and review shop drawings, RFI, and technical submissions.

Assist in value engineering to optimize cost, time, and quality.

Maintain project documentation including daily reports, checklists, and inspection records.

4. Cost & Progress Monitoring

Monitor material usage, manpower allocation, and work progress to ensure project efficiency.

Highlight potential delays, variations, or discrepancies to the Project Manager promptly.

5. Safety & Compliance

Ensure all site activities comply with CIDB, DOSH, and local authority regulations.

Promote safety awareness and participate in safety toolbox meetings

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
