Work Based: IN KUALA LUMPUR/SELANGOR.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team at CR SEA (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD.. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects in our project site area.

1. Implement all policies, activities, procedures, and instructions as outlined by the QPP & PSP management system.
2. Take ultimate responsibility for managing quality, environmental, safety, and health standards for the company.
3. Comply with all legal and other requirements applicable to the organization.
4. Fulfill the company's contractual obligations to clients.
5. Plan, manage, monitor, and control project operations effectively.
6. Coordinate and oversee subcontractor activities at the construction site.
7. Implement safety practices and maintain a clean and organized environment (housekeeping).
8. Ensure that all work and tests are conducted according to the Inspection and Test Plans.
9. Monitor site personnel, workers, and subcontractors to ensure they are following environmental, safety, and health practices at their workplace.
10. Continuously monitor, control, and improve QPP & PSP performance at the project site.
11. Chair all site safety, health, and environmental committee meetings.
12. Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by a superior.
13. Ensure that project meetings are held every two weeks and chaired by the S.O.
14. The meeting agenda shall cover relevant topics as needed.
15. Collaborate closely with the Site Officer (SO) to finalize and confirm the alternative design and materials proposed by the contractor.
16. Ensure that the subcontractor submits their quality plan and method statement to all relevant parties to minimize defects.
17. Implement corrective and preventive actions, including monitoring the progress of remedial work.
18. Attend site valuation meetings with representatives from the contract management department to assess the payment due to the contractor for non-compliant work.
19. Control all relevant project documents and data as outlined in the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Accountability.
20. Be accountable for the quality of the environment, safety, health, and overall performance at the project site.
21. Verify requisitions for construction materials.
22. Validate claims and payment requests.

Requirements: Applicable to Candidates in KUALA LUMPUR and SELANGOR

1. Primary Language: Mandarin (Liaise with China Stakeholders).
2. Candidates must possess at least a Degree in Building Construction/Engineering (Civil)/Project Management/Operation Management.
3. A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role is required.
4. Candidates should have at least 8 years of experience working in high-rise buildings, civil, and infrastructure projects, and in a construction environment.
5. Must have managerial experience in the building construction industry, preferably with projects valued over RM150 million, and a proven track record of completing projects on time, within budget, and achieving quality standards.
6. Preference will be given to candidates who speak Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
7. Computer literate in industry-related software such as MS Project/Word/Excel & AutoCAD.
8. Good oral and written proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
10. The ability to multitask is essential.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
12. Strong planning and time management skills are necessary.
13. Excellent leadership abilities are expected.
14. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
15. Willingness to work long hours and travel when necessary is essential.
16. Able to work on Sundays and public holidays, if needed.
17. Solid experience in site coordination, supervision, and project submission is required.
