Are you an experienced professional with a background in quality control and renewable energy industry? We are seeking a top-tier Inspection Engineer to join our Inspection team. You will be joining STS, a leading group in the global renewable energy sector. Position Overview

As a Sr. Inspector, you will ensure renewable energy equipment, including solar modules, energy storage systems, inverters, etc., meets project requirements by coordinating and conducting pre-dispatch and post-dispatch inspections. This involves overseeing manufacturing and testing processes, verifying on-site conditions, managing a team of inspectors during projects execution, and providing detailed reports and feedback to improve product quality and inspection efficiency while keeping project stakeholders informed of progress and findings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the inspection plan and checklist content after being trained to the projects requirements.
  • Participate to the project opening meeting to brief the supplier on the scope, inspection rules and schedule.
  • Verify the conditions on site (5M methodology) prior to performing the inspection.
  • Witness the testing progress by analyzing measurement and filling-in the checklist for each item to be inspected.
  • Monitor the testing lead time to ensure the completion within the agreed schedule.
  • Report to the Project Manager the findings observed on site during the inspection.
  • Fill-in the inspection report, based on the format prepared by the Service Engineering team.
  • Suggest ameliorations to the supplier to improve the inspected product and the testing conditions.
  • Propose improvement of the inspection methodology.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor in a technical field, or above, preferably in renewable energy or a related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in a technical or quality control role, preferably in the manufacturing, electrical, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
  • 80+% of time on the inspection site is requested.
  • Can travel abroad.
