Founded in 1981, Spindex is a leading precision engineering manufacturer with core competencies in turning, machining, grinding, surface treatments, mechanical sub-assemblies. With a regional footprint and international reach, Spindex has its headquarters in Singapore, and 5 production locations located in China, Malaysia and Vietnam with over 2000 headcount and more than 1000 CNC equipment. Its customer base is well diversified and globally represented.

We are now hiring for a New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Engineer, to be based in our Malaysia office (Synturn (M) Sdn Bhd).

RESPONSIBILITY

  • Develop project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resource requirements, and milestones for automotive projects.
  • Monitor project timelines and milestones, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions
  • Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and maintain high quality standards for automotive products
  • Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and design documentation
  • Reply customer feedback / complaint on sample stage and work with related department on improvement plan accordingly.

REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' NPI or product development, preferably in precision machining environment.
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, 7 QC Tools
  • In-depth understanding of turning processes, CNC machining, and related manufacturing technologies.
  • 5 working days

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
