Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the research and development as well as optimization of seasoning formulas to meet the consumer preferences in the Southeast Asian (SEA) and international markets.
  • Utilize unique raw materials with Southeast Asian and international flavors to formulate distinctive seasonings and flavors.
  • It is expected to work closely with flavorists to jointly research and develop seasonings and flavors.
  • Employ professional technologies in the fields of spray drying, reaction processes, and enzymatic flavor generation to achieve excellent product quality and performance.
  • Conduct research, experiments, and analyses to enhance flavor characteristics and sensory attributes.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as R&D, marketing, production, and quality assurance to ensure alignment with market trends and regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during the production and commercialization stages.
  • Pay close attention to industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantages.
  • Actively participate in strategic project teams, contributing insights and innovative solutions to achieve business goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and teamwork within the R&D department.

Job Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related field. A higher degree is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in flavor formula research and development, flavor engineering, or related fields, with proficiency in Southeast Asian and international flavor formulas.
  • Experience in spray drying, reaction processes, enzymatic flavor creation, and related technologies is preferred.
  • Familiar with regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards in the food industry.
  • Possess excellent project management skills, able to effectively manage schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to efficiently integrate into cross-departmental teams.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6, RM10,000.00 per month
