What You'll Do

As a Maths Teacher in the Students Potential Development Unit (SPDU), you will play a key role in developing students' numeracy skills, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver structured, hands on, and interactive Mathematics lessons tailored to students' individual learning needs and abilities.
• Differentiated Instruction: Adapt teaching strategies, materials, and assessments to support diverse learners.
• Curriculum Implementation: Teach and assess students in line with ADNI's curriculum and SPDU learning frameworks.
• Individualized Support: Provide additional guidance and intervention to help students grasp mathematical concepts at their own pace.
• Skill Development: Support students in developing functional numeracy, reasoning, and daily life maths skills.
• Monitoring Progress: Observe, document, and report students' progress in accordance with school and SPDU guidelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with SPDU teachers, coordinators, specialists, and parents to support each student's Individual Education Plan (IEP).

What You'll Bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, Special Education, or a related field.
• A recognized teaching qualification or equivalent certification.
• Experience working with special needs students is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of numeracy development and inclusive teaching strategies.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting diverse learners.
