Guest Room Cleaning

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms according to resort standards:
  • Change bed linens, make beds
  • Dust furniture and surfaces
  • Vacuum or mop floors
  • Sanitize bathrooms, restock toiletries and towels
  • Refill in-room amenities (coffee, water, etc.)
  • Report room damage or maintenance needs to supervisors

Public Area Cleaning

  • Maintain cleanliness in:
  • Lobbies, corridors, lounges
  • Public restrooms
  • Poolside areas, gym, spa, and recreational facilities
  • Sweep walkways and tidy resort grounds if required

Laundry Duties

  • Collect, sort, and send linen and guest laundry to laundry services
  • Fold, iron, and stock clean towels, linens, and uniforms
  • Ensure proper storage and inventory of linen supplies

Deep Cleaning Tasks (Periodic)

  • Perform scheduled deep-cleaning activities:
  • Carpet shampooing
  • Polishing floors or furniture
  • Cleaning air vents, curtains, or windows
  • Disinfecting high-touch areas during outbreaks (e.g., post-COVID SOPs)

Stocking & Inventory

  • Maintain housekeeping trolley with necessary supplies
  • Report low inventory levels to supervisor
  • Store cleaning products safely in designated areas

Guest Interaction (When Needed)

  • Respond to guest requests (extra pillows, towels, etc.)
  • Report lost-and-found items following resort policy
  • Ensure discretion and guest privacy at all times

Skills & Qualifications

  • Physically fit; able to lift, bend, and work long hours
  • Attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Basic English or Malay to understand instructions or guest requests
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Experience preferred, but on-the-job training is often provided
  • Friendly and respectful demeanor

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
