About the role

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our dynamic team at FERROTEC POWER SEMICONDUCTOR MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. in Pasir Gudang, Johor. As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimising and improving our manufacturing processes to ensure the highest quality standards are met. This is a full-time position based at our state-of-the-art facility in Pasir Gudang.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing, implementing and monitoring efficient manufacturing processes
  2. Identifying process improvements and implementing changes to increase productivity and yield
  3. Analysing process data and providing recommendations to enhance process stability and capability
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimise production
  5. Driving continuous improvement initiatives and documentation of processes
  6. Providing technical support and training to production staff
  7. Ensuring compliance with relevant quality, safety and environmental standards

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Process Engineer in the semiconductor or a similar high-tech manufacturing environment
  3. Strong understanding of process engineering principles, statistical process control, and lean manufacturing methodologies
  4. Proficient in data analysis, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  5. Experience in process optimisation, equipment troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
