AOI Technician

Coming onboard as AOI Technician, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting AOI machines to ensure high-quality inspection of PCB assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate AOI machines to inspect SMT-assembled PCBs according to inspection standards.
• Verify and analyze AOI findings, distinguishing between real defects and false calls.
• Perform machine program setup, optimization, and parameter adjustments for new models.
• Conduct regular calibration, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on AOI equipment.
• Collaborate with process engineers and quality teams to analyze defect trends and implement corrective actions.
• Record and report inspection data accurately in the quality tracking system.
• Support first article inspection (FAI) and process validation activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and ESD compliance in the working area.
• Ensure compliance with company quality systems (ISO/IATF) and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Certificate in Electronics, Mechatronics, or related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in SMT or AOI operations
• Understanding of SMT processes and PCB assembly standards (IPC-A-610).
• Ability to read PCB layout, component identification, and solder joint evaluation.
• Basic troubleshooting and machine setup knowledge.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Willing to work in shifts if required.

Pay: RM2, RM2,500.00 per month
