We are looking for a
Legal Manager
to join a leading listed Malaysian company. The role will be based in
Port
Klang for the first year
, before transitioning to the
Kuala Lumpur
office.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (supplier, tenancy, NDAs, SPAs, service agreements) to protect company interests.
  • Manage disputes and litigation by coordinating with external counsel, preparing documentation, and advising management on risks and strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, reporting, and disclosure requirements for Board, auditors, and regulators.
  • Oversee Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) compliance, conduct staff briefings, and manage gift declarations.
  • Maintain legal records, contract databases, and handle legal fee administration.
  • Provide legal advice, research, and ad-hoc support across departments as required.

Key requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to read and write Chinese, and converse in Mandarin is an advantage.
