Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and internal controls excellent organizational skills, and a passion for accuracy. The Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a unique and dynamic environment within the property management and retail industry.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the Company.
  • Ensure all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments and recorded correctly, accurately and promptly.
  • Ensure regular reconciliation including bank and creditors to ensure all transactions are properly accounted for.

2. Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare regular financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly management reports and analyses, including full sets of accounts, within stipulated timelines.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to aid the Management for strategic decision-making.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis reports for review by the Management.

4. Tax Compliance:

  • Provide necessary data and support for the accurate and timely tax submission, and ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Keep updated with changes in tax laws and regulations that might affect the Company.

5. Audit Support:

  • Support internal and external audit processes.
  • Prepare and provide required documentation and assist in responding to audit queries.

6. Vendor Management:

  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to verify invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Negotiate favorable terms with vendors and suppliers and ensuring timely payments .

7. Compliance and Regulations:

  • Ensure all financial activities comply with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Proper documentation and internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
  • Informed on current accounting regulations and e-invoicing requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • At least 6 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Good knowledge of accounting practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
