Key Responsibilities

1. Account Management & Business Development

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximize sales, profitability, and market share.
  • Identify growth opportunities through product assortment, promotional activities, and improved distribution.
  • Monitor account performance, analyze market trends, and provide actionable insights to drive revenue.
  • Negotiate trading terms, contracts, and joint business plans to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

2. Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary liaison for key retailers such as Watsons, Guardian, and Aeon Wellness.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with buyers, merchandisers, and marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance) to ensure smooth execution and account alignment.
  • Address and resolve business or operational issues (e.g., delays, claims, or disputes) efficiently and professionally.

3. Trade Marketing & Promotions

  • Partner with the marketing team to develop and execute trade promotions, in-store activations, and visual merchandising strategies.
  • Ensure brand visibility and compliance with retail partners' promotional guidelines.
  • Review post-campaign performance and provide improvement recommendations.

4. Forecasting & Inventory Planning

  • Work closely with the supply chain team to maintain optimal stock levels, preventing both shortages and excess inventory.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and demand planning inputs.

5. Reporting & Market Insights

  • Prepare monthly business reviews and sales reports for management and retail partners.
  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and category movements to stay ahead of market trends.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Key Account Management, ideally within FMCG, health, or beauty industries.
  • Strong experience managing major retail chains (Watsons, Guardian, Aeon Wellness, or similar).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong data interpretation ability (Excel, Nielsen, or similar tools).
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
