About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales & Marketing Executive to join our dynamic team at the SWAN GARDEN RESORT HOTEL (MELAKA) in Melaka Tengah, Melaka. As a full-time member of our sales and marketing department, you will play a key role in promoting our hotel's offerings and driving revenue growth.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to attract new clients and increase occupancy rates
  2. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and maintaining strong relationships with key industry partners
  3. Preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations to potential clients
  4. Coordinating and participating in trade shows, events, and promotional activities to raise the hotel's profile
  5. Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and adjust marketing plans accordingly
  6. Gathering and analysing data to track the success of marketing campaigns and inform future strategies
  7. Collaborating with the wider hotel team to ensure seamless guest experiences and support cross-selling initiatives

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably within the hospitality industry
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
  3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results
  5. Proficiency in using CRM software and data analysis tools to support marketing initiatives
  6. Thorough understanding of the local Melaka market and the competitive landscape
  7. Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
